In agreement with Tom here! I really don't feel I should have to buy a
third-party piece of software (Anzio Print Wizard) just to get a decent
spine label! I have to assume that's what most libraries have done,
since what comes out of the system is perfectly awful. IMHO.

We are using the default setting to print labels, as you describe. Our
printer also does still require frequent manual adjusting in order to
assure proper label alignment.

Someone please tell me I'm wrong, but at present you can only print
spine labels from MilCat that conform to the OCLC format with one 7/8"
spine label to the left and a pocket label(s) to the right. That's what
comes out of MilCat, take it or leave it!
Moreover, I'm told from our 140 member libraries -- who ALL currently
use third-party software or GUICAT to print labels, by the way -- that
this one label format doesn't even come out of MilCat correctly.
However, I refuse to believe that and we're working on at least getting
this to work correctly.
Am I wrong here? If not, at least tell me I'm right that this will be
changed with R2007 along with all of the terrific new printing options
that will come with that release. Oh, and tell me these features will
work within a consortium environment right from the start. :-)

Hello everyone,
I need to know if there is a way to print labels from iii. If so,
please share it with me. I currently rely on my student worker to enter
them into MS Word and print them out that way. As you can imagine this
is a long process that results in a lot of errors. Any suggestions
would be most helpful.
thanks!
