We worked with this idea & the item records were suppressed. But once  
they are suppressed, that's it? There's no way to have a button or  
link on the screen that will let you see them?

It would be simpler if the bib_display.html would let us separate the  
holdings records from the item records, but it doesn't. That I can  
understand ...
