Dear IUG--
Our Engineering Librarian reported the following issue in our catalog. I
am writing to find out if this is a system issue or something we can
fix.
Thanks,
Michelle

SCENARIO: Addison (Our Library Catalog) www.addison.vt.edu
<
http://www.addison.vt.edu/>
I'm in staff mode, and I do an LC call number search on TK5102.9
I sort by reverse year.
I choose to save this search as my preferred search.
I look at a book record to see how many times an item has been checked
out.
I use the "previous screen" and "return to list" icons at the top of the
page to get back to my original list.
When I get back there, Addison has done a "system sorted" arrangement of
my titles and I need to resort them to get back the list in reverse year
order. (Which is 2 clicks.)
How can I get Addison to leave my sort as a reverse year sort so I don't
need to resort it every time I go back to my original list of books?
