Melodie, we reported a problem with OPAC displays that is similar to your situation. In a briefcit display, title and author data is truncated in the middle of a word. We've had a call open to III since July 2005. According to our call status, a software fix has been coded and will be in the 2007 release. Our call will remain open until the fix is in general distribution.

Along with the truncation problem, we noticed that our subfield displays were not correct--245 subfields |b, |c, |h, etc. are not displayed in the correct order. Now that we are on release 2006, our subfield displays look better than they did, but the truncation problem is still there. I'd be interested to know if you noticed the same thing in your briefcit view.

Subject: [IUG] ANOTHER QUESTION FROM SOMEONE NEW TO THE WEBPAC (SPECIFICALLY, WHY ARE OUR TITLES BEING CUT OFF?)
To: "IUG INNOPAC List" <innopac at innopacusers dot org>

I just noticed that in the title browse displays our titles are being cut off after a certain number of characters - I'm thinking that I must have done something wrong when I did some noodling with the extended and brief display wwwoptions.

Here is what I am talking about:
http://grace.gtu.edu/search/Y?searchtype=Y&searcharg=god+jesus+&SORT=D&cmdSubmit=SEARCH
results 7 and 8 are examples

Before I call Innovative I thought I would check here and see if anyone (inadvertently) ran into this. Thanks!
