We are in the early stages of the process of migrating to/implementing
Millennium Release 2006. Our office/circ desk computers will be or have
been upgraded to meet the documented requirements. However, our current
OPAC computers are rather old and very close to their end of usefulness,
so our campus IT people are thinking of either implementing a Citrix
server (or equivalent) or more likely in their thinking at the moment, a
Windows terminal server to run the browser and connect to the catalog.

Please tell us about your experiences running Millennium with a similar
setup, positive and negative. Were there any issues or bottlenecks in
following external links to non-Millennium databases and Web-based
resourses?
Please don't forget to detail the nature of the environment used.
Replies to my address (below) or the list as you wish.

Thanks,
