If you don't know the check digit, just enter an "a" in its place

We have to enter the .p first, then the number and the letter a to
replace the check digit at the end. I just showed a staff person here
this yesterday and it worked for us. Example: .p1234567a

Subject: [IUG] Searching by patron record number in Millennium
If I just have a patron number (.pxxxxxxxx) can I use this to find a
patron
record in Millennium? This seems like it should be possible, but I keep
getting error messages that this search is not possible when I try to
use
the Circulation module to access a patron record without a name or
barcode.
Thanks!
