If the system retains the reading history, can staff access it? That's our real privacy issue - if we don't have the information, nobody can force us to give it up!

Kim -- the customers we have who have opted in don't seem concerned
about the privacy implication and really like it. In fact, they want it
to do more - sort various ways, have configurable print options, give
them a wish list capability so they can add books they haven't checked
out but want to read at a later date, etc. -- Aimee

Subject: [IUG] Experiences with the Reading History option

What experiences have other libraries, particularly public libraries,
had with using the Reading History option? Has the public been
enthusiastic about it? Were there any technical problems?
TIA
