For what it's worth, Sirsi Unicorn not only indexes them, but actually
uses them to validate headings. So you can use them in records and the
system sees those as valid headings. That is why you want them in the
system, Innovative.

I think that's the same problem we ran into. The difficulty is that III
doesn't index 18x headings at all. You can download them into your
system, but you can't find them again, because they aren't in any index.
It's been a while, so that could have changed.
If so, I'd love to know it, because sometimes those records have
information that would be very useful to us, including cross-references
from old to new forms of the subdivision.
