Yes, it is possible our address looks like this
Jenkins Law Library [exporter at library dot jenkinslaw dot org] dot I set this up
long time ago and telling the truth I do not remember what was involved
to change this.

Subject: [IUG] changing the display name of "exporter" email
Hello...
We're in the process of testing email alerts, and I would like to know
if it's possible to edit the display name (aka alias) of the
"IIIEXPORTER" email address that the email alert emails are "from".
Instead of seeing email from:
"III EXPORTER <exporter at ils1 dot tbpl dot ca>"
I would like it to say something more descriptive for the patrons like:
"Your Library <exporter at ils1 dot tbpl dot ca>"
I realize the actual address has to stay the same to make things work.
I found info at CSDirect under Documentation / Customer Info Resources
/ Email accounts in Millennium, here:
http://csdirect.iii.com/documentation/cir/sendmail.shtml
...but it doesn't really mention changing the display name.
Thanks, in advance, for any help!
Joanna
