RE: [IUG] Need help to create BIBIMAGE <alt> or <title> tag when using Amazon Coverart in Firefox.

I've used the following strategy to trick the system display for other
images, but we don't use BIBIMAGE so I haven't been able to test it:

BIBIMAGE=http://images.amazon.com/images/P/%s.01.00TLZZZZ"; title="Book
Jacket

The system encloses everything in quotes, so what you get for your image
link is:

"http://images.amazon.com/images/P/%s.01.00TLZZZZ"; title="Book Jacket"

This example just uses your thumbnail image, but you should be able to
use the same strategy on the full-size image.

Hope this works for you!

Subject: [IUG] Need help to create BIBIMAGE <alt> or <title> tag when
using Amazon Coverart in Firefox.

Good morning!

I've tried 4 ways from Sunday to create a working <alt> or <title> tag
for the Amazon Coverart in Firefox.

As most of you know, Firefox will only allow <alt> tags when the image
does not appear. The <title> tag when using an <img> tag.

When using Amazon's url, the url DOES NOT WORK if put in either a <a
href> or <img> tag. Since the <--{bookjacke}--> is a token it cannot be
placed within either a <a href> or <img> tag.

Additionally, since Amazon's url does not use the <a href> tag, the
BIBIMAGE_TEXT wwwoption does not display.

This only happens in Firefox, not IE--IE allows the 'incorrect' use of
the <alt> tag.

Anyone out there have any suggestions?

thanks
deb
