this generally works, although I admit I don't think I've ever tried to
update the RDATE field.

Did your site recently have a code upgrade? We are a beta site for
program registration and this recently started happening to us in that
module. Innovative was able to apply a fix for it.

The two issues might be completely unrelated, but it's something to
check.

Subject: [IUG] Changing RDATE in Rapid Update

I discovered that a large number of outstanding orders had the RDATE
inserted at time of order. I gathered them into a review file and tried
to change the date to blank through Rapid Update in Millenium
Acquisitions. As it would not allow me to delete the date, I entered b
for blank date, foolishly assuming that the date field would actually be
blank. Every record now has "20 - - " in the RDATE field, so each one is
showing in the catalogue as "In Process" - almost 400 records!! Does
anyone know of a way to change the date to actually be blank (ie. " -
- ") without editing every record?

Thank you!
