We are trying to setup proxy access to American Literature and it is
giving us fits. I added the proxy info to the url and have added an
entry in the wam table but still no luck. The error we get is "The
address you are trying to access is invalid". I read in the archives
that this is probably due to a bad wam table entry. If we go to the
American Literature website without the proxy it recognizes our ip
ranges and we have access. This is the proxified url I am trying to
use,
http://0-americanliterature.dukejournals.org.www.whitelib.emporia.edu/archive/

The error message is what you'd get if there is no entry in the WAM table, or the entry does not reflect what's in the URL, or the proxy and Web processes have not been restarted after making an entry. What's the WAM table entry look like?
