[IUG] AVS sys options and relation to WebPAC PRO?

For sites that have implemented PRO, what relation (if any) is there to
the OPAC system option (telnet) of "AVS performs Adjacency search?
yes/no" and its corollary option, "AVS performs OR search? yes/no"?

 

We are on 2006 at the moment, and we have these options set to "no". 

 

Once PRO is implemented, are these particular AVS system options
irrelevant, or do they continue to affect system behavior?
