I believe he is talking about the .01.00TLZZZZ, which has nothing to do
with being an affiliate (which has to do with getting $ for purchases
made through your links) or registered to use web services (which is
actually what you are supposed to do to use the images, etc.). It is a
"mask" with variables specifying the type and size of the image.
I just wanted to be clear on this.

Nathan,
As far as I know it's free. However, to use it requires you to become
an affiliate with Amazon, which is also free.

Deb,
I was following this discussion and wondered if the code in this
email is an account number you have for Amazon, or a free code?
If it is a free code, great news. If it is an account, your code has
been compromised and I didn't know what ramifications this might have
for you.

Brent,
You are a lifesaver! I can't believe I didn't catch that. I fixed
the typo and it works great. Thank you a gazillion times over!!!!!
If you go to the next IUG conference, I'd be happy to buy you
breakfast.
Thanks so much!

I think there is a typo. If you look at the source for the Amazon
frame after you click on an image, the frame points to
http://www.amazon.com/exec/*ofidos*/ASIN/... instead of *obidos*
with a 'b'.

Everyone, Anyone,
We just upgraded to 2006 this morning and will be upgrading to
WebPac Pro tomorrow morning. We're now having problems with the
cover art link from Amazon. Sometimes we get an error message and
sometimes not.
Our
BIBIMAGE=http://images.amazon.com/images/P/%s.01.00TLZZZZ|i|http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/%s/
Has anyone else encountered this behavior? Anyone know how to fix
it?
You can see the error message by going into our STAGING port at
http://clicnet.clic.edu:2082 and searching for 'Tree of Life.'
Some of the cover art will link to Amazon just fine and others not.
Please let me know if you have found a fix for this.
Thanks
