We also had that experience with some, but not all, of our users.

Subject: [IUG] Password issues after upgrading to 2006
We upgraded to Release 2006 Wednesday evening. Afterward we had several
users report receiving invalid login or password messages when trying to
access the Millennium clients. In each case I reset the user's password
in the Login Manager and all was well.
We've ruled out other causes and have confirmed that everything worked
fine earlier in the day before performing the upgrade. Has anyone else
experienced this behavior?
Thanks,
Mark
