Good morning, Everyone, and Happy New Year!

This is a reminder to please help us plan the upcoming IUG conference in San
Jose by taking the program survey at

http://www.innovativeusers.org/iug2007/iugprelimsurvey.html

The survey will be closed on Monday January 15th (in
the evening) so we can review the data at ALA Midwinter.

About the Survey:
The IUG Program Committee is conducting the initial IUG 2007 Program
Interest Survey. We need you to fill out the survey to let us know which
programs you are most likely to attend. We will use this information to
put together a preliminary schedule and see which programs to offer as
repeats. Filling out the survey is *not* a commitment to attend any
given session, or even attend IUG. There is no limit as to how many
folks from an institution may vote - anyone who thinks they may attend the
conference is eligible to vote. We will conduct a second survey in
mid-February once we have developed the preliminary schedule.

We are following the trend from recent years of having fewer repeated
sessions, so it is very important for you to participate, even if you
are not sure that you are attending. Remember, the conference will be in
sunny San Jose in May, 2007. You won¹t want to miss it!

PLEASE NOTE:
IUG and Innovative sessions are combined on this form. Innovative
sessions are indicated with an * and the (III Session) notation after
the title. Sessions proposed by IUG members have two additional pieces
of information after the title. First, it shows the audience level
(beginner, intermediate, advanced, or all users) and then the format
(forum or presentation).

Again, you can find the survey form at:

I need to acknowledge the work of the program committee who reviewed a
large number of submissions for this meeting. They are:

Again, thank you for helping us plan a better conference! I hope you all
had a safe holiday season!
