This is the type of information I was hoping to receive.

There is aonother, disagreeable aspect of the Amazon passthrough search,
which appears to occur when they do not have an item in their inventory.
The following message is displayed:

Looking for something?
We're sorry. The Web address you entered is not a functioning page on our
site. Go to Amazon.com's Home Page

I don't like the implication that the patrson entered a non-functioning
page, since it was actually the system that generated it. I also don't
see why the Amazon home (search) page should not simply be presented to
the user. I'm not sure whether using another index will resolve this and
will experiment.
