We created patron record templates for most of our branch locations. The
templates have the home library code as a pre-set value. Each library has
its own patron record template. We experience almost no errors in locations
where the templates are used. We have one system that uses a single template
for all of their branch locations and we notice there are more errors when
staff has to enter the home library code.
