[IUG] Courseware integration product

I was just informed that I must attend a meeting tomorrow morning at
9:30 EST and be able to address why we should purchase the Courseware
Integration product from III.  I have read the press release and the
information provided by III, but am looking for some ideas on how you
sold this to your administration.  I plan on addressing that it will
allow single sign-on from the Blackboard system to the library; it will
allow students to click on a course in Blackboard and locate materials
in the course reserve module of Millennium; and it will allow students
to search the catalog and check their library record from Blackboard.
What other uses have you made of this product? 

 

1)      Can a student access an electronic database or journal through
WAM without having to reauthenticate?

2)      Can someone set up a search in the Blackboard module for a known
topic and have students click this link to access library holdings?

3)      What other things will help us sell this product?

 

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
