[IUG] Duplicate Barcode Indexed

Hello all-

We have just upgraded to release 06 and have come across this known
issue:

Barcode appearing multiple times in the index

Prior to Release 2006, if a patron had multiple duplicate barcodes in
the record, they would only show up once in the index. They now appear
multiple times, causing some patron records to appear multiple times
when searching by barcode.

We have around 150 records that are attached by barcode (if that makes
sense). We are part of an InnReach system and so are unable to clean up
transactions in order to delete the infected records. As a result these
people are blocked from logging into any services and the fix is to
alter our current barcode schema (not pretty).

If you have experienced this problem as well, how were you able to
perform clean up? At this point, Innovative has not provided a solution
other than manually (nightmare).

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Please respond to
