Hello,

We at the University of Nebraska Medical Center Library are going to
implement CASE and ERM. We purchased both products because we would like
to present our users with a single bib record for each journal title to
which we have access. We want the single record to display all points of
online access and any print information/availability. We are hoping that
the combination of these products will enable us to achieve this goal.
Currently we use TDNet's A-Z list, load their MARC records into our
catalog, and often have to present at least two bib records for one
journal title to our users. One is our existing catalog record with the
print holdings info, and one is the TDNet MARC record with the online
holdings info.

Has anyone tried to solve this multiple record approach issue with CASE
and ERM?

Any advice about implementation and things to watch out for would be
greatly appreciated. Even if you have not tried to do a single record
approach with your serials I'd really appreciate hearing about your
experiences. You can reply off list to akaste at unmc dot edu, and I will
compile all responses.

Thanks and Best Wishes,
Ann
