[IUG] Innovative running on a Dell?

Our IT department wants to manage the library server - a move away from 
turnkey to software only.    The want to use a Dell.
Does anyone out there in Innovative land use a Dell as a server? 
If not, please way in with arguments against. 
If you do, please tell me of your experience.
