We modified the code of the Opt In and Opt Out buttons to append a privacy
statement to the end of it. It makes it a lot clearer.

Subject: [IUG] Patron Reading History
I'd like to hear from sites using Patron Reading History. Clemson is
testing it right now and we'd like to know to what extent, if any,
your institution has modified web pages to inform patrons about the
possible consequences of opting in.
We use external patron verification so patrons access their My
Library Account by using university assigned userids and passwords
and we feel that patron reading history is as secure as all other
data about a student or employee on campus. But we want to be sure
patrons know if that if their reading history is kept it can be
subject to subpoena. We'd like to know what other institutions have
done to inform patrons of this possibility, either within My Library
Account, or some other way.
Thanks for your help.
