[IUG] Delaying "Available" status

Kitty,

As our Technical Services section is in a different building than our 
library, we also needed a way to indicate the transitional status of 
books processed but not yet shelved. Materials come to the Preservation 
Unit with a " p In Process" status for processing and labeling . When 
they are barcoded, labeled, and ready to go, we change the status to "k 
Pre-Shelving." This in transit-sort of message is useful to our staff as 
well, when trying to locate a particular item.

When the materials arrive in Circulation, the status is to be changed to 
"Available" as our library-employee students check in the books, DVDs, 
etc. The system works quite well most of the time, barring someone 
forgetting to change the status.
