I am the site contact at Marshall but I didn't receive the new password.
Where I can find it or whom I need to contact to?

Thanks!

Subject: [IUG] New password for IUG web site in effect

Howdy all,

This is just a reminder that the generic password for the IUG web site
has been changed and the old one has been disabled. Your site contact
should be able to tell you the new one if s/he hasn't already.

One thing to be aware of is that we plan to move towards a system
based on individual passwords in the next year. This will improve
security, make it easier to remember the password (since you'll be
able to choose it yourself), and eliminate the need to regularly
change it.

During the transition period, you can use the generic password as you
always have. However, you can also take advantage of individual
passwords now if you want to experiment with this new functionality.
Site contacts should have received an email containing an individual
site password -- these already work. You can change your individual
password at http://innopacusers.org/membership/change/.

Site contacts may use their individual passwords to create accounts
for individual staff members at
http://innopacusers.org/membership/manage , so it won't even be
necessary for all members of an institution to share the same username
and password unless that is desired. If you use this function, you
must use your individual password (i.e. not the "iug" user) because
the system needs to be able to distinguish one site from another.

There are two things to be aware of if you start using individual
passwords. One is that the documentation is still being developed and
there may still be a few kinks to work out. Having said that, the
system seems reliable, and we are confident that we will be able to
make it official in the upcoming year. If you'd like experiment with
individual passwords before the official switchover, you can do so
without affecting your ability to use the generic password.

Let me know if you have any questions.
