[IUG] Accessing raw data for statistics older than 36 months

Dear IUG

Like many sites we run many Circulation statistical reports and 
archive them on a regular basis.

Recently however I was asked for a report that we had not run before 
and 5 years data was needed. As Innovative only allows 36 months of 
data to be stored for requests I couldn't provide this.

Which has led me to wonder if anyone else has run into this problem, 
and worked out a way to export raw data regularly to a database for 
later manipulation?
