[IUG] III and ezproxy

Our library is currently thinking (only thinking at this point), of
running access to all resources through our proxy server- so I hope this
isnt a stupid question!

That is, we will rewrite links so that when a patron clicks a link to a
resource (which is a link to our ezproxy server), ezproxy checks to see
if they are proxied, if not, asks patron to login, then redirects to
resource. Proxied patrons are redirected automatically.

We can do this easily on our own pages, and on our serials solutions
pages- but- in our opac- is there any way to add the ezproxy url's  to
all records automatically-somehow?

I have read about WAM, and read other libraries that edit their marc
records- but... Is there an easier way?

I keep thinking there should be a wwwoption that says "pre-fix this url
to all urls" and you enter your ezproxy url.
