Projects like that make me wish that III could include a "NOT" operator
in Create Lists, to go with "AND" and "OR." Here is a work-around that
I use sometimes.
1. Make your list of bibs that should *not* be suppressed.
2. Use Global Update to add a field that you know won't be used for
anything else (such as Field Group Tag "y MARC," MARC tag "999," and
3. Use Create Lists to make a list of all bibs with suppressed items and
MARC tag 999 "all fields don't have" Keep.
4. Suppress the bibs in the list from step 3.
5. Use Global Update to remove the field that you added in step 2.
It's clunky and takes a while, particularly if your lists are large. If
someone else may be working on a similar project at the same time, you
need to make sure that the information you use in step 2 is unique by
including your initials or something.
