It worked fine on 2005 for us and is still working on 2006.  I do see
where our cron job to send them only runs on Mondays.  You may want to
have them check there.

Does anyone have preferred searches email working?  Did you have any
problems getting it to email the listed marked for email? I had tried to
get III to help but all they send me is the manual pages, which I have
verified three times all the settings but it still does not email the
lists marked for email.  We have email working for notices and ILL so I
know the server is capable of sending email.
