Peter,
Are you talking about the index browse or record browse? There is an
wwwoption that exclusively controls the showing of bib_loc. If you use
briefcit for record browse, the best bet is not to define bib_loc, and
then display the item summary, that will for certain contain the item
location.

Subject: [IUG] BRIEF and Item Location
Currently, we're running 2005, and in WWWOptions I have the setting
BRIEF=AL. According to the manual, this should show the item location
ONLY when the bib. location is "multi." Well, it doesn't work that way,
thank goodness--it always shows the item bib. location for us, which is
just the way we want it.
We're about to upgrade to Millennium and 2006; and if I decide to go
with WebPAC Pro, as I think I will, then apparently we have to use
briefcit.html. I've been toying with various configurations, but all I
can get is the bib. location to display. Is there any way to set this up
so that the item location always appears in the browse display?
