Actually we did have cases where the toolbar was holding onto a port when
the session was ended in an abrupt manner.  If the connection was cut from
the server or the PC shutdown without ending the session the toolbar would
"hang on" to the original modules port.  If you are having this problem it
is easy to see that you have more toolbars than module logins.  For us it
was very obvious in the morning, before our libraries began to login.  The
help desk did something to monitor and correct this.  Unfortunately, the
call has been closed for over 180 days so I cannot reference the number to
you, but I do know that it was Rochelle who resolved the problem for us.

It doesn't use a port.  If it did we'd never have any available for work.

>From what I understand, the control bar does not count towards your
license usage.  You might want to check on 1) logins assigned to groups
and the number allowed for those groups (#106351) and 2) if you have
review files/statistical reports running (both use a license whenever
ran).

Does the Millennium Control bar use a login?  We periodically have a
spate of "All ports in use" messsages.  When I view jobs on each login,
I see a high number of Millennium Control Bar in use.  Would this have
an impact on "All ports in use"?  Thanks!
