Susan,
If you can designate Library staff to specific IP subnets, you may
be able to have III relegate them to different statistics groups and
therefore be able to monitor the differences. We were curious of the same
thing but had to create our own statistics tool to figure this out. We've
learned, unsurprisingly, that staff use the OPAC very differently that
patrons. Most patrons don't change scopes or indexes from the 'default'.

has anyone figured out a way to only get stats from public usage, not
staff usage? Not include searches done on Millennium?
25% of our users cannot be doing record number searches. It would be
really useful to separate out user-based known item searching from
staff based to get accurate percentage of index use.
