- Subject: [IUG] different review file results
I am having an odd problem with Create Lists, and would like to know if
others have experienced this and/or if anyone can suggest a reason this is
happening. Basically, I'm getting different results when I create a review
file in Millennium versus telnet. It only seems to happen when I run a list
on records that have been recently batch loaded - for example, let's say I
load a batch of records, then create a list of them in Millennium using the
criteria "Marc tag 984 has 'ocm'" (searching bib records). I keep ending up
with a list containing too few records. If I run the same list in the
telnet interface, I get the correct number of records. This has happened
after three separate batch loads, and each time the list falls short in
Millennium. The first time, for example, I loaded 700 records, and the
Millennium list found 385. I ran it several times over the course of two
days, and consistently ended up with 385. Then I tried it in the telnet
interface and all 700 showed up like they were supposed to. I know there's
been some discussion about Millennium performing differently than telnet in
various respects, but I couldn't find anything in the archives on this
particular issue. Can anyone advise/sympathize/etc.?
Thanks,
Tracey
