Unless Wireless Workstation will do the same thing, albeit via a live
connection. And for whatever that will cost...

If they support it, it does not seem to be too much to ask that there be
something like a new driver to allow us to use a serial to USB adapter.
The B321 is the only approved technology they have for the job, after
all.

One problem we've run into with our quite old B321 is that we must plug
it directly into a serial port on the PC. If we try to use any sort of
serial-to-USB adaptor to plug it into a USB port, the data doesn't
tranfer correctly (i.e. at all). So when our computer folks upgrade
staff workstations, we have to make sure that one workstation in our
Circ Dept. has a serial port.
