Thank you Betty for your inputs. I think that's the only way it should work. I'll send a request to III and verify if there is anything else we need to do.

We also had some difficulty starting our processes, and had to contact
III for some help. Since I am not sure what parameters for autonotices
you have set in your system, I think it might be a good idea to ask III
for their assistance in setting this up for you as well...

As for setting a specific time to run the notices, we are letting them
run as initially set up by III, which is right after our system back up
is run each morning. Our back up usually end around 6am each morning, so
the autonotices are run right after that. From a previous post on this
listserv, I think that you need to ask III to set this up.

Finally, my understanding is that if you set up autonotices, they are to
run everyday.

Subject: [IUG] Circulation - Auto enable for overdues

Hello Everyone,

I have a question regarding sending out overdue-notification messages
to patrons who have OD items. We've asked III to enable the feature
and we have it setup with our specific parameters, but it doesn't
seem to work at the day we told it to. Can you provide us with some
ideas that may have stopped this from happening? We'd like to set the
time, as well as the day, for the notices to be sent out. How can we
do such a thing?

Any enlightenment on this issue is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Robeen
