We have one ILL Department and two branches so we have the same problem with pickup location. Buying an additional ILL unit from III wasn't an option for us. In a nutshell, the email notice the customer receives says your item will be ready for pickup after a certain time. If it takes 4 days to get to another branch, and you send emails, make sure the email says 4 days. Also, we put info in the ILL record indicating the receive date, due date, and any special pickup note. We've done this for about 5 years now.
Process
*-------
1. Item is received in MilILL
2. In receive process, we answer NO to "print pickup notice?"
3. Click Notify (to send email notification).
4. Choose appropriate ILL message.
We have ILL messages set up for each branch and checkout period.
Example of email sent for a 3 week loan -
"Your Interlibrary Loan item will be ready to pick up at the Main Library
no sooner than tomorrow afternoon. It will need to be returned within
the next 3 weeks. If you have questions, call Interlibrary Loan, ..."
5. Add note to indicate receive date, due date and any special pickup note -
i: 4/25 d: 5/2
avail. after noon on 4/25
We add the notes to fields that are viewable in the ILL tab in the patron record. We usually use the publisher or edition fields. We do this in character-based with macros so it's pretty fast.
We only borrow 100 or fewer items per month so this isn't a huge burden on our ILL staff. We are a member of an INN-Reach system so the bulk of our lending to and borrow from other libraries is no done outside the ILL module.
Hope that helps.

Hello, all
The Millennium Interlibrary Loan module does not appear to have any Pickup
Location functionality attached to it. It automatically assumes that the PU
Location is the 'ILL Dept.' When items from a supplier are received, the
status in the virtual item goes immediately to On Holdshelf. What happens
when the real PU Location is somewhere else and there is the possibility of
an item being in transit for 3 or 4 days? There also appears to be nothing
resembling IN TRANSIT (HOLD). What procedure is anyone using to facilitate
the sending of ILL material to libraries other than the one that houses the
ILL Department?
I have looked over the 2006 Enhancements & the IUG Enhancement Requests and
have found nothing close to a solution to this problem. Perhaps I have
overlooked something??
Thanks,
