Howdy IUG members and all the ships at sea --
I am very happy to announce that the final program for IUG 2006 is
available on the web at the Innovative Users Group website. There have
been some minor changes since the preliminary program was released
because, as I am told, you are not allowed to schedule a speaker for two
different sessions at once.
This is going to be a fantastic conference. Thanks to all the
presenters who have agreed to share their knowledge and insights into
the system. Here are the documents and important links:

If you did not find a session to exactly fit your needs, consider
hosting a Birds of a Feather Session. You can have them in rooms at the
hotel in the conference area or at a local restaurant. Maybe the
"Catalogers Who Love Too Much" could get together and so could the
"Innovative Librarians who Cross-Stitch." These can be whatever you
want it to be (as long as it abides by the laws of Colorado). For more

We are currently gathering up the program materials and will make those
pages available soon.
If you have not registered yet, you have until May 1st to register at
the $225 rate. If you register after that, it will be at the $325
on-site rate.

And while I get to be the front man for all this work, I would be remiss
if I did not thank the program committee (Colleen Cuddy, Lynette
Erhardt, Jen Fritz, Carol Gyger, and Paddy Satzer); Innovative
superstars Betsy Graham, Gene Shimshock, Jason Quesada, Michelle Bea,
and Spenser Thompson; Pia Jones, and IUG Chair Cheryl Gowing.
