[IUG] Printing weirdness from WebOPAC in IE

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]
We just finished a redesign of our WebOPAC (http://library.bu.edu)

One thing that's been reported to me in the last week or so is printing
weirdness of bib records from Internet Explorer. Firefox printing seems to
be fine. The records themselves look to be fine.

But when we call up a title and look at the record display (which looks
fine), and print from IE, the 245 field splits so the first 2 characters
move to the left, leaving this weird separation in the title.

Example: Hearings on the So-Called "Beveridge Amendment"

Prints as: He earings on the So-Called "Beveridge Amendment"

It looks bizarre. I couldn't find anything on CSDirect Known Issues or the
Archives about this so thought I'd check to see if anyone else had run into
this - and how they solved it. Or is this one for the help desk?
