Stephen,

I experienced this problem at one time way back. We later discovered
that our IT department had changed some settings for routing. The delay
occurred because the message was bounced back and forth between several
routers before it finally was resolved and got to the right one. So ask
first what they did to the network, things like any major upgrade or
other projects. Good luck.

This isn't a problem in the clients (partly as evidenced by the fact
that
two unrelated clients have problems), it's a problem in the network.
Could
be a duplicate IP address, bad cabling, problems in a router, or any
number of things.
