Re: [IUG] Acquisitions-report on new fund appropriations

I am interested in this as well. Like Alison, I don't relish the idea
of pouring over fund activity reports or posting registers to compile
this information. It raises a couple of related questions:

Why don't funds exist as distinct record types in Millennium?

Why is it necessary to clear the payment history file as a corollary to
printing fund activity reports (at the point that it reaches a certain
size/limit)?

It seems to me that if funds were distinct record types and the payment
history data were retained indefinitely (or at least until a library
felt comfortable purging it), one could query out the desired
information at any time.

Hello IGU -

I need to create a report on all dollars added to funds in 2006, by
fund.

I tried the usual fund - find - expression - value report (as in page
100656) but there is no criteria for new appropriations. Since there
is no fund record type, create list and statistics won't work, right?

Is there a way to produce such a report? I would hate to resort to
scrolling through the fund activity report and noting all of the
"approp" entries.

Thanks for your help on this.
