RE: [IUG] 2006LE Holds issue

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]
We had this issue with our on order DVDs specifically, where the ICODE2
setting we had used all along was suddenly set to suppress the item
record in the WebOPAC, thus generating the message that there were no
holdable items on this record. We opened a call and the help desk
changed that setting. This happened when we upgraded to 2006LE.

It was a quick fix, but had to be done at III.

Subject: [IUG] 2006LE Holds issue

We just came up on III 2006LE version a week ago and we are experiencing
issues with patrons NOT being able to place holds from the OPAC. Staff
can place them just find but not patrons. It was working great on the
training server. Our settings are the same on both servers.

We are also experiencing an issue with notice printing. Some hold
notices are being printed on billing notices. In addition, the hold
notices this morning say there are about 3300 hold notices to print but
when you go to print them it says there are about 8400 hold notices.

Has anyone else experienced these issues?
