[IUG] Cancel orders

How do III libraries deal
with bib. records when orders are cancelled?  I want to be sure the bib
remains as long as needed but is deleted eventually.  Is it advisable
to suppress the bib until old orders are archived and then delete it? 
Or delete the bib and order immediately?  Or delete the bib in "delete
records of any type" and leave the order hanging?
