[IUG] Outputting URL information from 856 fields

Hi,

 

We will be moving from Silver to 2006LE tomorrow when we get our new server.
I am looking at all the new features where library setup is required and
staff have indicated they want me to implement them. In Rel. 2005 under Web
OPAC is the option that it is now possible to output URL information from
856 fields in all formats such as Endnote and Procite. Has anyone done this?
Looking at how you indicate which fields to output for say Procite, it looks
like you choose a field code tag, not a MARC field. Since our 856's do not
have unique field codes I'm worried we'd get all of the "y" tagged fields.
Can anyone verify whether this is true or not?
