After the recent discussion about briefcit (and thanks to help from Jon
Dillon) I took a closer look and tried some experiments.

Here are some of the drafts I've done so far in our test catalog.

Newspaper Scope: http://cals.evergreen.edu:2080/search~S8/Wking
[Fixes problem with date range displaying only last date!]

State Library Scope: http://cals.evergreen.edu:2080/search~S2/Wking
[Adds complete item information for up to three copies with note "There
are additional copies/volumes of this item" if there are more. Also
fixes problem with date range.]

Federal Publications Scope:
http://cals.evergreen.edu:2080/search~S12/Wking
[Adds the SuDoc number from the bib to the brief display. Also fixes the
problem with date range.

Digital Scope: http://cals.evergreen.edu:2080/search~S18/Wking
[Adds 856 link on brief display along with the first "z" subfield text.
Multiple 856 fields display "More...".]

I have two problems that I can't seem to fix though and any help would
be much appreciated.

The display at the top of the list of items in the second link
http://cals.evergreen.edu:2080/search~S2/Wking has text that is too
large (LOCATION CALL # STATUS). I can't seem to figure out how this
is controlled. Anyone know?

And, I can't seem to figure out how to get the column headers to work.
In our current catalog (see http://cals.evergreen.edu/search~S2/Wking
for an example), the columns are headed with "NUM", "Mark for Bookcart",
"Keywords", "Year", and "Entries found". But once I use a briefcit form
I lose all the headers except for the "Keywords" (or whatever type of
search is being done). Anyone know how to add those column headers back?

Any help would be most appreciated.

Joyfully,

Rich
