Your error seems bigger than javascript. For some reason your document is not loading completely. It is evident even when javascript is turned off

Background:
The object "document.search" is the content after the (?) question mark in server side document queries. For example take this url from google:
http://www.google.com/search?hs=E02&hl=en&lr=&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&q=typo&btnG=Search

this is your document.search object
hs=E02&hl=en&lr=&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&q=typo&btnG=Search

Your ( or millennium's) javascript is only used on advanced search. It is looking for document.search.seachtext1 but since your document is not completely loaded it does not exist.

Solution
In order to resolve your issue we have figure out what may be causing the millennium server to not output anymore code. There are inconsistencies between the screen directory and the root domain but I believe it can be fixed on your end. I would begin by commenting out html source code until you can pinpoint the issue.

I hope this helps.

Hello IUG,

This is my first post here, so I just wanted to say hello before I ask the
following:

I am starting the redesign process, and I want the mainmenu.html,
srchhelp_X.html, opacmenu.html to be the same. I was thinking that I would
copy the code for srchhelp_X into the other files.

However, I got a JavaScript error after I did this for mainmenu.html I know
that after some digging I could find this error, but I thought I could save
some time here. The error I get has to do with "document.search having no
properties" - FireFox.

The funny thing is that I get this error by going to:
library.uccs.edu:2082
But not when I go to:
library.uccs.edu:2082/screens/mainmenu.html

How are these two different? It has been awhile since I have worked with
JavaScript, so I was hoping for some advice.

Again, I want to have the advanced keyword search on the mainmenu.

We are in the following environment:
Silver 1.1
Working with Release 2005 WebOPAC sample set (can I do this with Silver?)

Thank you,
