Our system printer HP4000N was on its last legs. We just replaced it with an HP2430N and it works great. We made sure that it had the same IP adress at the 4000 and that the settings matched what was listed in the manual (#101133) for the 4000. We didn't have to adjust printer settings for any of the logins. It's almost as if the system doesn't know anything has changed.

We will be replacing our server soon and requested information from
III. Without going into too much detail our IT department looked at
the specs and said the server was outdated. We will be looking at our
options on server replacement after the semester break. But we will
keep in mind that III recommends we replace the server every three years.
