I was under the impression that any changes that came about from the documentation feedback mechanism wouldn't take effect until a new release was issued. So they wouldn't benefit anyone else reading the release notes for 2005. Do they update documents after they are released? How would those changes be propagated to the local documentation on each server.
I was thinking more along the lines of the postgresql documentation at http://www.postgresql.org/docs/8.1/interactive/ where each page allows anyone to add notes to the end.
