Hi All,
We're getting ready to implement MetaFind and we need to start using WAM to make MetaFind work. Our Innovative server is behind our firewall, so I've avoided learning about WAM until now as we haven't needed it, and my poor brain is too crammed with things I must know to add any extra data to it.
I have only a vague idea of exactly what a proxy is or does. The resourses I've checked that are handy don't have any information. Could someone please send me a simple, easily understood explanation of what proxy is, preferrably using 1-syllable words?
