- Subject: [IUG] System-Generated Not-in-Table Call Number Circ Report?
I'm having a little difficulty figuring out the system-generated
not-in-table call number circulation statistics report. I went to the
manual, read up on the darn thing, and followed the directions (Tools >
Copy, etc.). Lo and behold, there was a report for "Items:Call numbers
not in SCAT." I copied it to a regular review file. It looked
interesting, although it was not as large as I expected. So far, so
good.
When I copied the system-generated report to a regular review file, I
deleted the system-generated version. Then I ran a new circ-by-call
number report, with different parameters. The web management report
indicates that there were several thousand "not in table" circulations,
but when I looked for the system-generated report, there was none.
Am I doing something wrong? Have I missed some important step? I am
confused, which isn't unusual in itself, but in this case people are
asking me for the report, and so I can't just keep my confusion to
myself this time! I'd be grateful for any help or suggestions regarding
this report.
Thanks!
