[IUG] Clear item status without a dialog box?

We need to change about 50,000 items that have a status "away" to status 
"on shelf". We will be doing this by actually checking in all items one by 
one.
At the check-in process, a dialog box appears and asks "Item status is 
away, clear it?" We will have to click on "yes" each time.

Is there an option of CLEARING ITEM STATUS AT CHECK-IN AUTOMATICALLY 
TURNED ON? We have separate workstations set up, and separate logins 
can be created.
If no such options exist, is there a way to do a macro so that at least a 
keystroke is used instead of mouse?
